TAMKEEN SPORTS ACADEMY STUDENT DORMITORY

The student residence is designed for students of Tamkeen Sports Academy in Khaburah, Oman. The dormitory building consists of two main buildings and the floors are connected by balconies. A courtyard was created between the balconies and the masses that unite the design. By covering the inner courtyard with a glass roof, it is aimed to use the light rate entering the building at the optimum level. The light entering the rooms is controlled using slatted canopies on the façade. At the same time, the continuity of the facade design is ensured by using slatted eaves on the balconies.
